AES Silver Medal Award to Jörg Wuttke
At its May, 2007 convention in Vienna, the Audio Engineering Society awarded its Silver Medal to Jörg Wuttke, who until his retirement earlier this year was Technical Director at SCHOEPS . This honor was given for his outstanding contributions to the development of small-diaphragm condenser microphones and microphone circuitry, but also for his work in the education of microphone users–in recent years Mr. Wuttke has given informational presentations about microphones at nearly every AES convention.

Wieslaw Woszczyk hands over the Silver Medal.
The Silver Medal (formerly the Emile Berliner Award) has been given by the AES each year since 1971 in recognition of outstanding development or achievement in the field of audio engineering.
