The combination of the OSIX with the CCM 41 supercardioid and the B 5 D windscreen (see picture) represents an optimal solution. It offers especially significant improvement for indoor boom operation.
Attenuation of solid-borne noise from the boom is achieved by the unique architecture of the CINELA OSIX series, which features individual tuning for the weight and size of the microphone.
The picture shows the OSIX CCM LU with XLR-3-output plug.
The OSIX CCM LL has a Lemo output plug like that of the CCM-L compact microphones.
Recommended windscreen:
B 5 D hollow foam-type windscreen
The W 5 D hollow foam-type windscreen may also be used, however the windscreen cannot be pushed completely onto the CCM as this would impede proper operation of the suspension system.
